Project Overview
Glimmr is a B2B Augmented Reality (AR) solution designed to bridge the "touch-and-feel" gap in online jewelry shopping. It integrates directly into e-commerce platforms, allowing customers to visualize complex jewelry items—earrings, necklaces, and rings—on themselves in real-time, reducing purchase anxiety and increasing brand trust.

Goal
To build a "magic mirror" experience that eliminates the guesswork of buying jewelry online. The objective was to create a frictionless AR interface that requires zero learning curve, accurately displaying size, physics, and material texture (gold/silver/gemstone) to drive purchase confidence.
Problems
Business Pain Point: Selling jewelry online faces a major hurdle: customers hesitate to buy high-ticket items without knowing how they look on their specific skin tone, face shape, or hand size. Brands suffer from high return rates and cart abandonment due to a lack of product visualization.
User Pain Point: Users needed to visualize the actual look, size, and length of the jewelry. They struggled to determine which ring size would fit and which gold tone would best complement their features
Impact
35% Boost in Add-to-Cart
During the POC test run, the client observed a distinct increase in "Add to Cart" actions. Users who engaged with the try-on feature demonstrated much higher purchase intent compared to those viewing static images.
2x Higher User Retention
The interactive nature of the AR feature significantly improved retention. Users spent more time exploring different products and variations, reducing bounce rates on the product pages.
