My Journey
I didn't start as a designer. I started as a curious engineer who fell in love with storytelling. This is the timeline of the risks I took, the failures I learned from, and the pivots that brought me here.
The Beginning After the End
Jul, 2019 - Mar, 2020

I was a civil engineer, lost between government exams and job applications that never worked out. Watching my friends settle down while I kept failing was tough.
My escape was Anime. Those stories about grit and purpose didn't just entertain me; they saved me. They sparked a curiosity for storytelling that made me take a leap of faith: leaving my hometown to study film in Delhi.
The First Big Break
Apr, 2020 - Mar, 2022

When the pandemic hit, the world paused, but I couldn't afford to. I applied to Ankur Warikoo’s team with barely any experience—just a gut feeling and some basic Premiere Pro skills.
Getting that job changed my life. I earned my first paycheck, spent sleepless nights learning to edit, and grew up alongside the brand. It wasn't just about gaining 1.5M followers; it was about learning that stories can build communities.
Scaling Up: Startups & Sports
Apr, 2022 - Jun, 2023

Leaving the safety of my first team was a gamble. I jumped into the chaotic world of SaaS at Dukaan and took on high-pressure freelance projects for the Women’s IPL.
It was a time of pure experimentation—managing teams, directing shoots, and handling tight deadlines. This wasn't just about editing anymore; it was about realizing that I loved the strategy behind the content as much as the creation itself.
Finding My Space in Design
Jul, 2023 - Sep, 2025

At Ctruh, I joined as an editor, but I found myself constantly asking "Why?" about the product. I realized that editing and UX design are actually sisters: both are about guiding the user's eye and emotion.
That curiosity led me to transition teams. I didn't just want to tell the story of the product anymore; I wanted to build the product itself. Moving from Editor to Associate Director wasn't a ladder I climbed; it was a bridge I built between my two loves.
Today
Present
I used to think my career changes were restarts. Now I know they were building blocks.
Today, I bring the precision of an engineer and the pacing of an editor to product design. I don't just build interfaces; I design the rhythm of how a user experiences a product. I am finally building the stories I used to just edit.
